I’d have preferred this sunset on Saturday night as I’ll have friends round for dinner, but I wasn’t just going to ignore it.
Besides, it’ll be snowing that hard on Saturday we won’t see the sunset.

I am envious of you all (well, to a point) …
But will you get lightning, too?? I’ve had that a couple of times … once in City of London, the other time when I was in France a couple of weeks ago.
Spooky and menacing …
Aye, years ago and I can’t remember the mountain. Terrified me, I was convinced the whole time the hairs were standing up on the back of my neck and I was about to be zapped.
I’ve been on The Kilpatricks few times when thunderstorm moved, I can get off of there quick though.
I’m more likely to miss the sunset through taking an age to put up my tent, but here’s hoping for snow!
More importantly though, what are you cooking ;-)
Is it just me thats scared to check the weather?
Winter in Scottish hills could bring anything better bring my teddy to keep me warm.
Currently all we’ve got is Honey Stinger bars, but I’m hoping for more. Bring a packed lunch just in case :o)
Davy, it is looking wintery. But, I’ve got various plans for that, around four camp sites in mind depending on conditions.
Everyone bring a teddy I think.
