The Wizard

Saw snow on the higher tops at the weekend and the sun is lying lower in the sky causing much squinting while fishing for sunglasses in the motor. This morning sealed the deal, thick fog on the Clyde which thinned to ribbons of mist and is now breaking up as the sun rises.
October has something special about it, warm embers underneath with a cool blue overcoat and clear skies above. October is colour and light, its warm and cold, its jumping off the roof to April’s arriving at the station, it’s time to look out hats and wear a jumper and love it.
