The return of the First Look, more coming up.
Here’s something a bit unusual in for test, it’s a name that’s synonymous with top-end tents, but Terra Nova have also done sleeping bags for a long time. For some reason though, they seem to have a low profile.
I’ve got the Laser 600 here, it’s 664g in its compression sack and is stuffed with 355g of 900 fill power down in a box wall design. It’s a stripped down model with just a short shoulder zip for a little venting and easier access, it has an internal shoulder baffle so you can have the hood loose and still seal the heat in, an unusual feature on this kind of bag.
It compresses right down, has a mummy shape that doesn’t feel like my legs have been duct taped together and has a 0ºC rating which makes it spot on for high camps right about now.
It’s fast and light affair, it says Laser on it after all. Updates as we go.
