Barnaby popped back in to say “Take the gamble, pack the rucksack”. That’s easy for her to say, she’s hanging onto the sturdy bough of a tree because she knows what the wind is going to be like on the tops.
But, the decision has been made, we’re going anyway. Where we’re camping is an unknown, but it won’t be that high that’s for sure.

Was on the top of Beinn Narnain today – lovely day but seriously cold and windy on the tops. Totally different lower down – camping about 600m would have been fine.
My favourite hill! The wind crept up in the night :o)
